Each year the South Carolina Higher Education Foundation hosts a reception and dinner for public college presidents as part of an annual meeting at which presidents make annual presentations to the Commissioners of the SC Commission on Higher Education regarding the state of their respective institutions. The Presidents Dinner promotes camaraderie and collaboration among leaders of the state’s higher education institutions, and is viewed favorably by presidents and board chairs. Presidents Dinner attendees see the annual affair as a welcome opportunity to visit informally with their peers, CHE commissioners, and executive staff of the SC Commission on Higher Education and SC Higher Education Foundation.
